The ServiceNow Developer will be responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of ServiceNow applications and modules to enhance IT service management within the organization. This role requires collaboration with various teams to ensure that ServiceNow functionality meets business needs.
• Develop and customize ServiceNow applications and modules using JavaScript, GlideScript, and other related technologies.
• Integrate ServiceNow with other IT management tools and applications to enable seamless data exchange.
• Write and maintain technical documentation for design, development, testing, and deployment processes.
• Participate in the analysis of business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Conduct unit tests and ensure quality assurance standards are met before deployment.
• Provide support and troubleshooting for ServiceNow applications, addressing issues as they arise.
• Stay current with ServiceNow updates and enhancements, and implement new features as necessary.
Requirements
• Candidates must be U.S. citizens with no dual citizenship due to agency and contract requirements.
• 3+ years of experience in ServiceNow development.
• Strong knowledge of ServiceNow architecture and modules, particularly Incident, Problem, Change, and Service Catalog.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, XML, and related web technologies.
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator and Implementation Specialist certification is preferred.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effectively working with cross-functional teams.
