Description
 BSN and 3 years of progressive leadership experience required. 3+ years of IR or other procedural nursing experience strongly preferred. Associate Nurse Manager, or RN Manager experience preferred. 
The Interventional Radiology Department is a part of the Heart and Vascular Center at the University of CO Hospital, under the same leadership and geographic location as the Cardiac Cath Lab, Cardiac EP Lab, and the CV Pre-Post Department. The unit consists of 8 procedural rooms, caring for both inpatients and outpatients, and performs all types of procedures performed by an Interventional Radiologist or APP. In addition, we perform Neuro Intervention as a part of our TJC Accredited Stroke Program. The IR Manager also provides oversight for the Vascular Access Team and PICC, a newly created team of professionals that work with the inpatient teams to manage IV access throughout the hospital. Our operations run 24/7 with 2 on-call teams for Stroke and Body IR emergencies, staffed with RN’s and RT’s. The IR Manager reports to the Director of Patient Services for the HVC Procedural Services, with support from a highly experienced team of professionals.

Pay: $52.33 - $83.73 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience
 Summary: 
Manages the daily operations of the assigned nursing unit(s) or function(s) to ensure alignment with departmental and organizational objectives.
 Responsibilities: 
Assists with developing specific departmental goals, standards, and objectives which directly support the strategic plan and vision of the organization.
Manages staff relations including performance management, staff satisfaction, and conflict management. Performs and oversees scheduling, recruitment, payroll, and student engagements.
Monitors departmental budgets, regulatory compliance, departmental contracts, and vendor relations. Determines and justifies needs for systems/equipment/supplies purchases, monitors usage, and oversees proper working order and/or stock supplies.
Assesses the quality of patient care delivered and coordinates patient care services with patients, staff, physicians, and other departments.
Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.
Requirements:
Graduate from a baccalaureate school of nursing.
State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN). Relevant certification as determined at position level.
3 years of progressive leadership experience.
