We are seeking an experienced Data Warehouse/BI Developer to support business intelligence initiatives in a hybrid environment in Richmond, VA . This role focuses on developing complex SQL queries, BI reports, and ETL processes while collaborating closely with business stakeholders. Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR) is a major plus.
Develop and troubleshoot complex SQL queries and scripts for analytics and reporting.
Design, build, and maintain ETL processes using SSIS .
Create and manage reports using SSRS and/or Power BI .
Perform data modeling and work with various data source control systems ( GIT, TFS , etc.).
Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements, ensure data quality, and deliver meaningful insights.
Work within Agile/Kanban frameworks for iterative delivery.
Automate tasks using PowerShell or other scripting languages.
Identify and resolve data quality and performance issues.
Required Skills & Experience:
8+ years of experience with complex SQL queries and data analytics .
5+ years of SQL scripting/troubleshooting .
5+ years of hands-on experience with SSIS and data troubleshooting .
Experience with SSRS and/or Power BI for reporting solutions.
Familiarity with data modeling principles.
Experience with source control systems such as GIT or TFS.
Comfortable working in Agile/Kanban development environments.
Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
Scripting experience in PowerShell or similar languages.
Knowledge or experience working with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
Exposure to Artificial Intelligence (AI) in data platforms.
Note:
This is a W2-only position.
Candidates must be local to Richmond, VA or willing to relocate.
