Support Resident Care with Precision and Compassion We’re seeking a reliable and dedicated Certified Medication Aide to join our growing team! This role requires trustworthiness, consistency in attendance, and the ability to effectively multitask in a dynamic environment. A professional and cooperative demeanor is essential to collaborate with others and meet the demands of this position. Your Impact as a Certified Medication Aide In this role, you will: * Administer Medications: Properly administer prescribed PO, topical (unbroken skin), and rectal medications according to physician’s orders and company policies. * Monitor and Report: Observe for adverse effects of administered medications and report them immediately to the Charge Nurse. * Document Administration: Record all medication administration according to company policies. * Ensure Safety and Security: Maintain the security of the medication cart and ensure a safe, hazard-free environment. * Maintain Confidentiality: Protect the privacy and confidentiality of resident information. * Follow Infection Control Policies: Adhere to infection control protocols during medication administration. * Monitor Resident Status: Notify the Charge Nurse of complaints, reactions, or any changes in resident status. * Report Errors: Report any medication errors immediately to the Charge Nurse. What Makes You a Great Fit We’re seeking someone who: * Holds a current Medication Administration certification from the state. * Demonstrates competence in medication administration and technical procedures. * Possesses strong communication skills with excellent self-discipline and patience. * Is detail-oriented and capable of accurately recording information.
