Audiology Technician

Our exceptional, well-established Audiology Practice is seeking a full-time Audiology Tech/ Assistant to join our team. Candidates need to be highly motivated, compassionate, and detail oriented. They must be willing to work in a fast-paced setting with a can-do attitude and be willing to jump in to help wherever needed. Our team of professionals is dedicated to providing superior patient care in a friendly, upbeat office.

We're looking for someone who will bring a smile and tackle obstacles cheerfully. An individual with a high level of organization and attention to detail, exhibiting exceptional communication skills, proficient knowledge of computers, having the ability to work independently and cooperatively with others in the office, as well as show compassion when working with our patients. Reliable transportation mandatory as we rotate between our two Portland locations.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Clean, check, and perform minor repairs of hearing aids
  • Deliver post-fitting hearing aid orientation (care and use) for new users
  • Perform digital ear scans
  • Maintain equipment
  • Manage inventory of audiology supplies and clinic devices
  • Conduct post-fitting orientations and warranty checks
  • Maintain patient files and perform clerical duties and other administrative support functions
  • Sending/ tracking hearing aid orders, repairs, and return for credits

Requirements:

  • High school degree or equivalent
  • Proficient in Excel and Word

Skills Required:

  • Ability to type 40+ words-per-minute
  • Friendly disposition and excellent communication skills
  • Must be capable of working independently and as part of the team
  • Ability to follow directions and systems, and maintain close attention to detail
  • Have a positive mindset and genuine desire for personal development

  • Ability to prioritize and handle a high volume of patients
